Perkembangan Embrio Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) Dengan In-Ovo Feeding Menggunakan L-Arginin

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan embrio ayam KUB dengan in-ovo feeding menggunakan L-Arginin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus hingga November 2023 di CV Sanjaya Desa Trasan, Kecamatan Bandongan dan di Laboratorium Unggas dan Aneka Ternak, Politeknik Pembangunan Pertanian Yogyakarta – Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan lima pengulangan dengan per kelompok perlakuan lima butir telur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analysis of variance (ANOVA). Apabila perlakuan memperlihatkan pengaruh yang nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT). Penelitian ini menggunakan 300 butir telur fertil ayam KUB dengan perlakuan injeksi L-Arginin yaitu P0- sebagai kontrol negatif (tanpa injeksi), P0+ sebagai kontrol positif (injeksi NaCl Fisiologis 0,9%), P1 pemberian L-Arginin 1,5% (1,5 gram per 100 ml NaCl Fisiologis 0,9%), P2 pemberian L-Arginin 2% (2 gram per 100 ml NaCl Fisiologis 0,9%), dan P3 pemberian L- Arginin 2,5% (2,5 gram per 100 ml NaCl Fisiologis 0,9%). Injeksi dilakukan pada hari ke 10 inkubasi dengan diinjeksi 0,5 ml larutan in-ovo feeding. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah penyusutan bobot telur, bobot embrio, panjang sayap, panjang kaki, dan lingkar dada. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil yang signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap bobot embrio tetapi tidak signifikan (P>0,05) pada penyusutan bobot telur, panjang sayap, panjang kaki, dan lingkar dada. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian adalah injeksi L-Arginin sebanyak 2,5% dapat meningkatkan bobot embrio.
