PEMANFAATAN SUMBERDAYA PAKAN LOKAL MELALUI INTEGRASI TERNAK SAPI POTONG DENGAN USAHATANI
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada amoniasi jerami padi dan jerami padi fermentasi, dengantujuan untuk meneloti kualitas dan kecernaan in vitro. Beberapa kendala pemanfaatan jerami padi
sebagai pakan ternak adalah kualitas yang sangat rendah dengan kandungan serat yang tinggi,
kadar protein dan daya cerna rendah. Rancangan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok,
dengan 4 perlakuan yang digunakan jerami padi (kontrol), amoniasi jerami padi, dan jerami
fermentasi I dan jerami fermentasi II. Bahan Kering dan Bahan Organik dicerna amoniasi jerami
padi dan fermentasi jerami padi cenderung naik. Hal ini disebabkan adanya mikroorganisme
probiotik dan penambahan molase pada fermentasi jerami merupakan sumber karbohidrat yang
membantu dalam perbaikan tingkat ketersediaan nutrisi jerami.
