PENGARUH LIMBAH PUPUK CAIR BIOGAS YANG DIPEKATKAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN CABAI
Abstract
Limbah temak morupakan bahan organik yang menjadi sumber cemaranlingkungan, schingga poxigubahan limbah ternak sebagai ponyodia enorgi, pakan,
pupuk organik sangat diharapkan.
Sludge cair limbah gas bio dari kotoran ternak mengandung air sekitar 90-93
persen yang di dalarnnya terdapat berbagai macam. zat hara untuk pertumbuhan dan
produksi tanaman. Cairan sludge limbah gas bio agar bertnanfaat dan dapat
dikornersialkan maka diperlukan pengentalan supaya tidak volumnis dengan
penambahan pupuk anorganik dan zat aktif lain.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1). Mengembalikan limbah ternak pada tanaman
siap pakai dan tanpa menurunkan mutu lingkungan maupun kehidupan. (2). Untuk
mengetahui nilai biologis sludge cair, menjadi kornoditi pupuk tanaman kornersial.
Adapun kegunaannya adalah: (1). Menentulcan mutu dan menjadikan sludge cair
sebagai, pupuk tanaman. (2). MernbangkitIcan proses pengelolaan limbah ternak
untuk peningkatan mutu lingkimgan dan kehidupan masyarakat,
Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode percobaan dengan rancangan acak
lengkap model Faktorial. Materi yang digmakan di dalam penelitian in! adalah:
tanaman lombok, lumpur sludge limbah unit gas bio, pupuk NPK dan semen. Alat
yang digunakan adalah beker glass, dan evaporator. Percobaannya, meliputi empat
tahap:
(1). mengentalkan pupuk cair dari 100 % menjadi 25 % dan 63 %, (2). membuat
campuran pupuk cair yang telah dipekatkan dicampur dengan pupuk NPK (1 %, 2 %,
3 % dan 4 %) dan semen (4 %, 6 % dan 8 %), (3). menanam tanaman pangan berupa
lombok merah ke dalarn bedengan, keempat adalah mengontrol perturnbuhan tanaman
dengan mengukur respon pupuk sludge yang diberikan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a). terdapat pengaruh sludge yang nyata
pada tinggi tanarnan lombok umur 2 sampai 3 minggu dan NPK pada umur 2 minggu,
(b). terdapat interaksi antara Sludge dan NPK pada tanaman lombok umur 7, 9 dan 10
minggu, (c). terdapat intaraksi NPK dan Semen pada tinggi tanaman umur 6 sampai
dengan 11 minggu.Kesimpulan: 1). Sludge sangat berperanan pada penampilan tinggi tanaman lombok
pada umur dua sampai tiga minggu, sedangkan NPK pada umur dua minggu.
ABSTRACT
The obyeetives of this research are 1. to make use animal waste product chili
growth with no risk to the to the environment and human life 2. To investigate the
value of biological liquid sludge to he a commodity of comercial plant fertilizer. The
uses of the research are (1). To make liquid sludge to be a fertilizer and, to determine
its quality 2. to build a process in making use animal waste to improve the
inviromnent quality and human life.
The materials used in this research are : chili plants, sludge mud of bio gas waste,
cement and NPK fertilizer. The equipment needed are beker glass, oven and other tools
that supporced the chili growth. The try out was conduced within 4 steps : first processing
the viscosity of liquid bio fertilizer from 100 % became. 25 % and 65 %, secondly making
a mixure of fluid fertilizer that had been thickened and cement also NPK, thirdly, growing
ordinary ( red ) chilies om a vegetable bed Fourthly, controlling the growth of the chifies
by measuring the respond of the sludge fertilizer given to the plants.
The result of the research indicated that: (1) the Sludge and NPK of giving the
chille growth at two week and three week relative tall, and two week, (b). interaction
Sludge and NPK giving of the chili growth 7, 9 and 10 week relative tall , (c) the
interaction of giving sludge and cement 6 % shows a satisfied result at week 6 up to week
11. Suggestion : it is needed to conduct forther resourches for a comparison to get more
satisfied result by treating other fertilizer combinations.
